Tiffany was AUM Lady Senators’ team captain for two years, helped lead them to a National Tournament appearance in 2003 and a Sweet 16 National Tournament appearance in 2004. Tiffany was also very active with volunteer work through the Big/Little Sister Program, Lady Senators Adopt-A-Highway Program, Angels for the Elderly, “Reading Makes a Lifelong Difference” Initiative, and worked with the Special Olympics at the 2004 Basketball Nationals. Although she was very active in athletics and extra-curricular activities, Tiffany also maintained her place at the top of her class. While at AUM, she was inducted to the Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society where she served as Vice President, was named to the Dean’s List and to the Vice Chancellor’s List. In 2005, Tiffany was named a member of the Who’s Who Among America’s College Students.

Tou-Jia Elementary School sets the standard for quality education by maintaining and striving to achieve high goals. We do this because private schools require high tuitions, and are able to run schools with less governmental restraint and a higher degree of flexibility in educational choices. Public schools are open to more criticism from the community at large. Despite this, we choose to offer positive choices for our students. No matter how hard it is, we will still maintain our strong vision for the future. Our goals are to meet student and parental expectations as best we can. To achieve these impressive goals, we must work harder and more diligently than other local public schools. The road is long, but we will maintain our perseverance. We require our teachers to teach diligently, maintain student discipline with minimal severity and offer quality instruction to all students. We offer our students two paths of education; one based on achieving high educational standards and the other on developing morally responsible students. This is our sixth year as a school. Our two main characteristics are English instruction and swimming teaching. Both are already famous throughout Taichung County. Parents also agree with our educational standards and goals. That is why our school is always overpopulated with students. We also put emphasis on Mandarin, science and mathematics teaching in addition to other basic subjects such as social studies, Taiwanese, music, physical education and art. Our lunch also helps students achieve our goals by being nutritious and healthy. Our swimming, English and athletic teaching has earned Tou-Jia many awards and recognitions. Our school lunch has been voted first in Taichung County for three years running. In addition, we also emphasize students' morality and positive behavior including their living habits, ethics and personnel dress. We hope students can complete a holistic and beneficial education at Tou-Jia Elementary School. Our strong will and effort have already procured positive results. Our ambition is very definite. We want students to be comfortable both inside and outside of the classroom. We hope that they can develop strong educational and athletic abilities while becoming positive citizens in this increasingly global world. To achieve these visions, we require hardworking teachers as well as active and involved parents and volunteers. Your assistance is our motivation to achieve even greater things. We need your loyalty and support to make our dreams come true.
