BES PTA & KAH will be hosting the Class of 2012 Picnic for our 5th graders at BES Field on Friday, June 1st from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The cost for this picnic is $25, which includes food, fun, entertainment plus a Class of 2012 t-shirt. Please fill in the form and drop in our PTA Drop Box by Friday, May 4th. Why not get a keepsake of memories for your brightest stars. Get a copy of 2011-2012 Burtonville ES Yearbook for a price of $20/book. The book will be arriving soon, so reserve a copy today.

Just simply write "Yearbook Order" along with your child's name, grade & teacher on an envelope. Insert cash or check payable to BES PTA, and drop it off in our PTA Drop Box in the School Office by Friday, May 4th.

  • FLES Winter Registration The new deadline for submitting FLES Registrations is Thursday, January 12th or effectively, Friday, January 13, 2012.  Please consider registering your child for FLES before the new deadline.If you need assistance with FLES tuition, you may apply for Scholarship by filling the Scholarship application form, and submit it along with your FLES Registration.   • HANDS ON SCIENCE Classes are now forming for the Winter Session of Hands on Science (HOS).  The first day of classes will be January 2012.  Please look for registration forms this week in your child's backpack and are due December 9th with payment to hold a spot for class.  If you should have any questions, please call Caroline Johnson BES PTA Volunteer at 301-362-7591 or you may visit the website:  http://www.hosprograms.org.  Parents may also pay for classes online but still need to submit a registration form with receipt that the class was paid to the BES PTA Volunteer.
