WELCOME TO SEVENTH GRADE MATH!
Seventh grade students explore math through Connected Math series. This is an investigative approach to learning math that allows students to obtain a deeper meaning of how mathematics works and to connect it to their daily lives.
Homework:
I do believe that homework is necessary. In order for students to truly grasp new concepts practice is essential, and I feel it is imperative that students spend time working independently on mathematics to enhance their confidence and skills. Students typically have time in class to begin assignments and ask questions, but please expect homework 2-4 nights per week. You can check the Weekly Assignments page to check homework at any time.
