This is my ninth year teaching.  I graduated from Illinois State University in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in Middle Level Education.  After graduation I taught fourth grade at Colene Hoose Elementary in Normal for 1 year.  My husband works with the University of Illinois basketball team, so in 2001 I moved to Champaign.  I taught seventh grade math and science at Urbana Middle School for two years before coming to Franklin.  This is my sixth year at Franklin Middle School and I can't imagine teaching any where else!  I have never worked with such caring and dedicated teachers, as well as with such motivated, intellegent, and WONDERFUL students that attend Franklin Middle School.     I hope you find this site useful.  If you have any questions, comments or suggestions please do not hesitate to contact me at bursonka@champaignschools.org   Go Knights!
