Students must meet all requirements and
maintain good class attendance. These
requirements are based on continuous training. Breaks from training will result in delays in rank progress or retesting for current rank.
Tests are cumulative; you are always responsible for the information
from previous rank tests. We have a stripe system for rank advancement. There is a list on the right hand side of the page that explains the stripe system. Students must have all stripes before they will be allowed to test. Minimum time of training for each belt level is noted in parentheses. There are fees for testing. Check with the dojo for the current rank test fees. White to Yellow Belt (2 months) Kihon Renshu: 1 – 12; Zenshin Kotai: 1 - 2

free counter | Stripe System We are introducing a striping system at the dojo. Students will be awarded stripes to put on their belt for accomplishing goals between rank tests. This will allow students to have a couple of small tests to prepare for their next belt. Students can attempt a stripe test any Friday night; there will be no fee for stripe tests. Stripe testing will be short and to the point. Students should be able to demonstrate the required material at a high degree of proficiency due the small amount of material being performed for each stripe.
