Joanna Burnside, yondan

Joanna began her training while in college at the University of Southern Mississippi.  A Yondan in Seibukan karate, Joanna was a seven time Mississippi Karate Association state champion and has also earned a gold medal at AAU Karate National Championships.  She is currently a music instructor at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.


Pope Huff, sandan

Sensei Huff began his training in Shotokan under Gearld Giles.  He later trained in American Kenpo; earning a black belt in that style.  He has been training in Seibukan since 1997 and is one of the chief instructors.  Huff holds a 3rd degree black belt in Seibukan karate.
