Any adult resident of BURNET COUNTY, recommended by the BCHC or the County Commissioner's court and approved by the Commissioner's court are eligible for membership. If interested in joining the BCHC, please attend a regularly scheduled meeting, or e-mail the chairman to express your interest in membership. Members are appointed for two-year terms in January of odd numbered years. Ex-officio, non-voting members include the County Judge, the County Commissioners, sponsors of Junior Historian groups, and representatives of related organizations. A citizen of Burnet County, who has made outstanding contribution(s) to the collection and preservation of history of Burnet County, of historical sites and places, may be elected as Honorary members to the BCHC.
