Rules
Students must present a library pass when visiting the library during class periods.
Only three students per pass please.
A book drop is available at the circulation desk.
Rules that apply in the classroom also apply in the library. BE COURTEOUS.
Only 4 students are allowed at each table.
Absolutely no food or drinks are allowed in the library.
Take care of your library and its materials.
Checking Out Materials
Burges student ID is required.
Regular book checkouts are for two weeks.
Maximum of 4 books may be checked out.
Fines: 10 cents per day per book; there is one free day after the book is due.
Fines are waived with an excused absence slip from the Attendance Office.
Overnight Materials
Magazines and Reference books must be checked out after 3:45 PM and returned the following morning by 8:45 AM.
Fines: 10 cents per period.
Printing Fees
We have a copy machine! 10 cents per page
Computer printing: first 7 pages of text and/or graphics free; 10 cents per page for subsequent pages; no duplicates
*Printing must be for educational purposes and be compliant with copyright law.
Internet and Computer Software
All library computers have Internet access. A student ID and a signed Internet Permission Form (AUA on file)
are required for Internet use. Internet computers are for educational purposes only. Word,
Power Point and Excel are also available for class assignments.
