1. Additional Terms & Conditions for Online Customers

Please make sure you read and understand the terms and conditions prior to any purchase.  

All Additional Terms & Conditions are to form part of and incorporated in the full Terms, Conditions & Disclaimers outlined below as part of all sales. 

• All Bid/Buys constitute an agreement that the buyer will adhere to all terms and conditions as set out on this page and Builders Bargains full terms and conditions. By bidding/buying you are entering into a legally binding contract with Builders Bargains, whereupon you are agreeing to all terms and conditions of sale as set out by Builders Bargains. 
• Payments are required within 5 days; any other terms must be pre-arranged at Builders Bargains discretion.  (refer to Payments)   
• If delivery is required, please contact us to book in a delivery time.   
• If collecting your product please contact the warehouse to ensure item is available for immediate pick-up.   
• Items are made available for despatched upon receipt of full payment - please allow up to 2 days for processing.    
• Allow up to 7-10 working days for Melbourne Metro delivery, 7-20 days for all interstate deliveries depending on location. Transit times are provided by the delivery service, excluding weekends, holidays and may vary according to location.  
• If item refers to a batch of designs, kindly advise on design choice at your earliest.   
• A cancellation/restocking and handling fee applies to all non finalised transactions.   
• All our items are checked for damage and missing parts prior to delivery.  They are sent out in good and brand new condition.  Builders Bargains takes no responsibility once despatched from our warehouse. 
• While all care is taken, any errors or omissions in the item details are unintentional.

2. Conditions of Sale

a. All sales constitute an agreement that the buyer will adhere to all terms and conditions as set out on this page and Builders Bargains full terms and conditions. By purchasing or placing sales orders you are entering into a legally binding contract with Builders Bargains, whereupon you are agreeing to all terms and conditions of sale as set out by Builders Bargains.

 

b. All goods sold are quality inspected and free of damage or faults.

 

c. Goods delivered to site are considered sold and the responsibility of the customer.

 

d. Goods can only be held in store for up to 14 days from date of invoice, sales receipt or order. If goods are not collected within this period a Holding fee will apply.  If goods are not collected within 30 days they are returned to stock and all payment/deposits are forfeited.

 

e .For all sales of tiles, no claim for shortage or breakages will be allowed unless notified at time of delivery or pickup. All tiles are sold subject to their normal and natural colour variations; no responsibility will be accepted for incorrect supply after the tiles have been fitted. 

 

f. For sale of all items, no claim for shortage will be allowed unless notified at time of delivery or pickup.

 

g. All ceramic items are routinely checked by staff for damage during handling.  Broken/damaged ceramic items are distinctly audible. No claims for damage will be accepted once despatched from our warehouse.

 

h. All items sold are subject to manufacturer’s warranties.

 

 3. Delivery

a. Builders Bargains contracts commercial freight forwarders on behalf of customers and subject to Builders Bargains full terms, conditions and disclaimers.

 

b. Delivery is between 9.00 – 5.00pm Monday – Friday

 

c. Delivery day or time cannot be guarantee.

 

d. Goods are despatched within 48hours of  finalised payment.

 

e. Transit time is approximate and as per the quoted period for all locations. All transit times are provided by the delivery service, excluding weekends, holidays and any unforeseen circumstances. 

 

f. Minimum Delivery fee applies to all items.  If delivery cannot be accepted or Request to Contact or Authority to Leave Delivered Items is not submitted the delivery fee will be incurred as part of the item cost. Additional delivery attempts will incur a subsequent fee.

 

g. All Delivery quotations are for basic delivery service.  Basic delivery service is subject to the condition that a physically capable individual will be at that destination to assist the driver to unload any item over 30kg. 

 

h. Basic delivery is to front door or closest easily accessible location only - no steps or internal dwelling entry. Surcharges apply for all non regular conditions/locations – please contact Builders Bargains.

 

i.  Builders Bargains does not accept any liability whatsoever for any third party claims or financial claims for delayed works as a result of undelivered goods, goods lost or damaged during transit.

 

j. Minimum Tile Delivery fee applies to all delivery of tiles, inclusive of half an hour unloading time. Each 15 minutes thereafter is charged at $40.00.  Please note that delivery staff DO NOT unload.  Unloading is the responsibility of the customer.

3. Returns – Warranty Issues

 

a. All returns and warranty issue items must be accompanied with the invoice and presented within 7 days of invoice date. 

 

b. A minimum 10% restocking and handling fee applies to all returned goods or cancelled orders.  All items must be in their original unopened packaging, unused, uninstalled and undamaged condition.

 

c. 20% restocking and handling fee applies to all returnable opened and/or broken packaging.

 

d. No returns on Clearance items, Special Order items, opened Shower Screen boxes, Baths, Mirrors, Tapware, Tiles, Toilets or installed items.

 

e. All pressed metal and acrylic baths are to be checked on collection or delivery for damage. Notices are displayed in all stores advising customers of the same. If item is being delivered - said item should be checked on receipt of delivery.  If item is damaged do not accept delivery. No claims for damage will be accepted once item has left sale premises or accepted on delivery.

 

f. Delivery fee on returned items is non refundable.  Returns of goods are to be at customer’s own expense and transportation.

 

g. Damaged, faulty or warranty issue items must be returned by customer to place of purchase within 7 days of invoice.  All items must be returned for assessment of replacement item.  Non returned items cannot be processed. Replacement items are to be collected from original place of purchase.

 

h. All Builders Bargains manufactured products come with 12 month product guarantee. Builders Bargains will replace any product, if a fault is shown in manufacturing or materials prior to correct installation. The guarantee does not include removal and installation costs.

 

i. Claims for faulty, damaged or incorrect supply will not be accepted once item has been installed.

 

j. Builders Bargains has the right to refuse return of damaged items.

 

4. Special Orders

 

a. 20% non-refundable deposit on all non inventory stock and /or custom orders.

 

b. Goods must be collected within 30 days of original Sales Order, if not collected the order will be cancelled and placed back into stock.

 

c. Cancellation of Sales Order will result in forfeit of non-refundable deposit.

 

d. Goods remain the property of Builders Bargains until items have been paid in full. 

 

5.  Disclaimers

a. Builders Bargains takes no responsibility for any product once despatched from our warehouse.

b. Builders Bargains does not accept any liability whatsoever for consequential loss, injury or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to misuse, negligent use, excessive use, alteration, modification, defective installation, maintenance or repair of the product.

c. Builders Bargains does not accept any liability whatsoever for consequential loss, injury, or damage caused by use of the product in a manner not designed, recommended or intended by the manufacturer.  

 

d. Builders Bargains does not accept any liability whatsoever for shower screens, un-installable shower screens, toilets, vanities, tiles etc due to non-ideal bathroom conditions.  It is the customer's responsibility to determine if the product is suitable for their application and use.

 

e. Builders Bargains does not accept any liability whatsoever for product breakages, consequential loss, injury or damages to property (e.g. shower screens, bathrooms. tiles, vanities, etc) or persons as a result of DIY installations. 

 

f. Builders Bargains does not accept any liability whatsoever for any third party claims or financial claims for delayed works as a result of undelivered goods, goods lost or damaged during transit.
