Any Animal, Any Disaster, AnywhereThe Animal Response Teams are public/private/non-profit partnerships intended to provide the volunteers, resources, organization, and financial commitment needed to plan for and respond to disasters of all types and sizes impacting animals in our state and county.
The Bucks County Animal Response Team (Bucks CART) is a local extension of the State Animal Response Team for Pennsylvania (PA SART).
We are an animal rescue and response organization comprised of local volunteers. During a disaster in Bucks County, we would rescue and shelter all types of animals. We are run by PASART, the state organization that supervises all the county CARTS. BUCKS CART is a non-profit, state-run organization, available to respond to all types of disasters in Bucks County affecting animals. Floods, hurricanes, and blizzards are just a few examples of the kinds of incidents we may be called upon to respond to.

Some PET Disaster Preparedness Tips YOU Should Know:ü NEVER leave your animals behind!!!
ü Have a disaster plan for your family that includes your pets. ü Have a disaster supply kit ready for your pets in case of a disaster. ü Have pet-friendly hotels or evacuation locations planned in advance to evacuate with your pets. ü Have ID Tags and collars for all pets. Micro chipping is best ID.  |
