Our school, Bataan School of Fisheries lies on the bay area of the coast of Orion, Bataan, 35 km North East of Mariveles, the starting point of the Death March. The school is overseeing the Manila Bay's dawn and morning rituals where most of the fisherfolks cast their nets or carry their catch on their motorized bancas. For more than 35 years now, the school is giving these folks some generalized and specialized skills and knowledge about fishing and culturing aquatic animals. Food processing and preservation methods for the catch is also given as training and lessons. Other skills being taught here are garments and tailoring, food and beverage service, and lately, PC OPERATIONS. This portal was made specifically for computer students access and experimentations, but nevertheless, other skilled courses and high school activities will also be featured. Most of the students are Secondary (High School) coming from migrant families, usually of Visayan origin while there are also Bicolanos and Ilocanos. In general, It was a relatively peaceful and progressive school competing with some of the best secondary schools in Bataan.
