The time to sign up for summer camp is upon us. In order to lock in the fee, we must submit our Troop Roster and full payment (or deposit of $100.00 with a Campership Form) prior to May 01st, 2009. Attached are forms relative to Summer camp which runs from August 09th through August 15th, 2009. Attendance at Camp is not only fun, but Scouts learn skills and have the opportunity to advance in rank and earn Merit Badges in many disciplines. 1. 2009 Campership Form 2. Personal Standing Orders, 2009 (Must be signed by Physician) 3. Camp Personal Gear (a handy list for new campers) 4. Annual Health and Medical Record (Must be signed by Physician) We do not need the forms completed by May 1st, just the commitment to attend, the Campership form (if applicable) and the camp fees. The Medical Forms will be collected during the Summer. Since no Scout should be denied the opportunity to attend camp, the Troop contributes $50.00 to those Scouts who are active participating in fundraising and activities, and commit to camp by May 01st. In addition, the Council can provide “Camperships” based on need, for which an application form is enclosed. The Camp Fee is $270.00 - $50.00 from the Troop = $220.00. The Troop has a group photograph taken at camp at a cost of $10.00 Total due by April 27th Meeting at the latest, $230.00. Any payment after this date will be $325.00 per week plus $10.00 for the Troop Photograph, or a total of $335.00. |
