Bear Den 1

Welcome to the Calvary Church Cub Scouts Pack 957 - Bear Den 1 web site. 

The purpose of the site is to provide information on events throughout the year, and to provide a central location for information specific to our Bear Den. 

Normally, we meet twice a month for den meetings, and once a month for a pack meeting. All meetings are normally on Thursday at Calvary Church. Meetings start at 6:45 PM and end at 8:00 PM. Check the Calendar page for meeting and event details (snack volunteer).

Any handouts at the den meetings are available for download from the Downloads page.

  • Scouting at Busch Wildlife (April 2012) I've received a flyer filled with great opportunities to attend events at the Busch Wildlife Conservation Area, and I wanted to pass it along to the parents.

  • Dad & Lad Summer Camp This summer we'll have the opportunity to attend the Dad & Lad overnight summer camp.  This camp is extremely popular in the Greater Saint Louis Area Council. We received the July 14-15 camping slot in the lottery.   • Summer Camps The scouts will have a couple camping opportunities this summer:Family Camp - June 3rd - 5thFamily camp will be at El Shaddai Christian Ranch on June 3rd - 5th in Moscow Mills, MO. This event is organized for families from our pack/troop only. Family camp is for the whole family: Scout, Dad, Mom, and Siblings. If you have never camped before, this is the perfect time and place to start. Don't worry, there will be lots of folks around to help. There are organized activities, but there will also be plenty of free time to relax, explore, and have fun as a family. We will have fishing, campfires, skits, sand volleyball, swimming, nature hikes, ultimate frisbee, and more. Arrival ...
