I am an electronics engineer. While my career started in telecommunications, tv transmitters, and microstrip microwave circuits,
since 1978 I have focused on digital logic & microprocessor based
electronics, both in hardware & software.
My current professional and research interests include real-time embedded systems, fuzzy logic,
computational intelligence, OOA/OOD, C/C++ and their design methods.
I am president of
Nuptek Systems Ltd.
I am active with the IEEE Toronto Section, where my activities and interests include
Computational Intelligence. I am also active with the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) where currently I am Vice Chair of the Webinars Sub-Committee, Vice Chair of the Standards Committee and a member of the Educational Repository Sub-Committee.
I am also a Member of PEO,
a Senior Member of IEEE, a Fellow
of the EIC, and a Fellow of Engineers Canada (FEC).
