Meetings
We are an informal support and social group who meet at HGL to have a chat over tea or coffee about issues related to bisexuality. HGL is on Bromsgrove Street, opposite the Tesco Metro which is on Hurst Street. The Postcode is B5 6RG. We welcome people at any time between 7:30pm and 9:00pm so please don't worry about being "late". Many of us go onto a pub (currently usually the Wellington on Bromsgrove Street because it's quiet and friendly) at 9:00pm for a drink afterwards.
About the groupWe are a mixed bunch of people (men & women) from around the Midlands, who meet mainly for a social gathering and occassionally plan events, such as our annual Brum Bi Fest held November each year. We meet currently once a month at HGL (Healthy Gay Living centre) on the second Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm. Where we drink tea and coffee - sometimes eat cake and biscuits if someone brings some, and have informal chats mostly about issues we have in common and centre around bisexuality. Though there are also the occasions when we have a more formal discussions to plan and organise events and everyones input is welcome and encoraged.
For those who work later or feel that the above as a big group is not for them, the group moves to the pub at 9.00pm (currently The Wellington on Bromsgrove Street) where you can have your prefured tiple or a pop and small groups brake off.
Late arrivals are welcome either at the HGL or the Wellington.
For anyone who arrives earlier than 7.30pm there is usually a group of us who meet anytime between 6.00pm and 7.30pm at the Westherspoons 'The Dragon' on Hurst Street. So your welcome to come and find us.
