Shauna Thompson

  • 1996 graduate of Elizabethtown High School
  • 2001 graduate of University of Louisville
  • member of 1997 national champion Morehead State University cheer team
  • 2-time national champion Ladybird Dance team
  • 8 time national champion (by coaching/choreography); Gymtyme Allstars, Louisville Allstars, Louisville Elite, University of Louisville coed/allgirl, Bullitt Central High School, Georgia Allstars
  • former UCA and NCA/NDA staff     
  • 4th place KAPOS state (2008,2009)  
  • KAPOS state runner-up (2010)/ KAPOS State Coach of the Year

I have been coaching for almost 14 years.  I've had the opportunity to work with some great athletes and programs.  Coaching is something I love and I wouldn't feel as normal without it. 
I love my group at Central Hardin.  I get the chance to work with amazing kids.  This will be my 7th year with them, and they get better every year. 
Besides coaching, I am absolutely in love with my feisty, 4 yr old, Lucas, my 1 yr old daughter, Brett, and my awesome husband, Todd.   I like to be outside, and I love sports...............yes you know I believe cheerleading and dance to both be sports!!
My husband and I both coach and teach at Central Hardin, and are working hard to make a name for the programs we represent!
