Hi, I'm Bruce and I hand build and restore cedar canvas canoes. I retired from the oil business in early 2006 after 37 years of service. Following retirement I built a workshop in my backyard with the sole purpose of building  canoes. I created a mold for a 15'-6" canoe that I lovingly call the "Malone Special" named after my eldest grandson. As a retiree my primary interest is to create a legacy of outstanding craftsmanship and high quality construction.  Every canoe I make or restore will be completed with undivided attention to detail using the highest quality materials available.
