The goal came from great pressure on the Fire defense by forwards Bobby Pavliga and Andrew Erickson. The continued pressure forced a mistake by the goalie and Bobby capitalized scoring his first goal of the season. The second half was a back and forth game with the Fire creating opportunities by forcing the issue in front of the Raiders goal. The Fire eventually got one through the defense to score the tying goal. The Raiders settled as played continued and gave themselves chances at retaking the lead with some good ball movement. The Fire scored a late goal that became the game winner off of a corner and nice redirected header. The Raiders finished strong with a couple of near misses hitting the post and the side of the net on breakaways, but they could not stop the fast Fire team.
