BHS THEATRE NEWS

This past weekend, 44 theatre students represented Brownsburg High School at the Indiana State Theatre Festival, with great success.  Their production of CLASS ACTION received a fifth place finish, Jacob Hinnen was awarded “Best Cameo” performance, Claire Waggoner was elected as a State Thespian Officer for the second year in a row, and Madison Turner received a performance scholarship.  10 juniors and seniors auditioned for college representatives - all receiving accolades and call backs from numerous universities.  17 students also received awards in the individual event competitions.

Jessica Merritt & Emma Anderson – duet acting – “Best of Category” (aka STATE CHAMP!)

 All in all, a great weekend for BHS Theatre!
