BROWARD SYMPHONIC BAND CONCERT
The Broward Symphonic Band of Broward College will present their Opening Concert of the season on Sunday afternoon, December 13th, at 2PM in the Bailey Concert Hall on the Central Campus, 3501 S.W. David Road, Davie.
Under the able direction of Maestro Neil Jenkins ,the one-hundred plus musicians of the Broward Symphonic Band
will present their holiday concert with a variety of holiday and tradtional band music. Featured on the concert
wil be vocal soloist Mora Newman singing Over the Rainbow from the "Wizard of Oz" and Blue Moon , composed by
Richard Rodgers. Trombonist, Michael Delisfort will perfomr Arthur Pryor's "Thoughts of Love". Jazz tunes and
selections from an Operetta by Carl Zeller will demonstrate the musical and technical abilities of the Broward
Symphonic Band. Babe Boniske, Band Librarian and Concert Commentator, provides expert commentary on all of the tunes and much more.
