| Gaze at Orion This is a much more bare-bones song. I really want to hear comments and suggestions. What could I add to make it more interesting musically? How do the lyrics feel? They're quasi-political, quasi-personal, sort of contemplating how easy it is to be led around. The ending (and the title) don't have much to do with the rest of the song, I'm definitely open to changing them. oh, a simple song to commemorate a simple time not long ago a time that i remember well and wish it could return <something about forgetting the lyrics??> but i could not be the one to take the leading role this i know, this you know and i trust you to understand me take my trembling vision and make a final decision and please, sir, don't let me waver i know that i could not be trusted i know, i am to follow, follow yes, i'm blessed, i am wise, i follow, follow you are all that i hide in myself you are my reflection, did you know? i don't see clear, so you're here did you know that you're my man of straw you are smiling and kindly and funny too you are everything i wish i was now you know, and i know and i beg you to take my trembling vision and fake a final decision and please, sir, don't let me waver i know that i could not be trusted i know, i am to follow, follow yes, i'm blessed, i am wise, i follow, follow just follow my lead gaze at orion leave me behind leave me behind |
