St Pierre was the venue for the third annual Cyder Cup, where the event doubled in size for the second consecutive year.  The captains armbands were handed down and saw Andy Cook defending against the sprightly an Colm Evans, with Cook requiring just 6 of the available 12pts to retain the trophy.  As always, the pairs matches threw up some mouth watering contests with ony Cook and Temple reaching the last hole with something to play for and closing their match out to avoid a 4-0 white wash.  At 3-1 the challengers had all to play for and both Captains aired on the side of caution with their singles orders, neither front loading or back filling.  Tout struck and early blow for Team Evans by hammering King 7&5, a point that resonated around the course and built the all important momentum.  Further wins for Jaemson, Thomas, White, Burket and Dominguez lead to a final score of 9-3 and with it, the trophy switched hands and the massacre was complete.
