In 1986 Pete Seeger and some of the Hudson River Sloop Singers recorded a set during the Great Hudson River Revival.  Some of those songs and a few more recorded in the studio became a record, Broad Old River.  In 2009 five songs more were brought back from the original 8 track recording and with a story added to the record and put out on CD as Broad Old River 2.  Rik Palieri decided to produce a 2 part show for his Song Writer's Notebook TV series which is now archived in the American Folklife Collection.  It's about sloop singer history.
