We will wrap-up our Post-Vietnam to Present unit this week and then have several "skill" activities drawing on the history we have learned this year. Here's a modified schedule: - MONDAY: F mod - Finish Presidents DVD segment; A mod - Finish discussion
- TUESDAY: A mod (only) - Finish Presidents DVD segment and conduct Current Events Activity
- WEDNESDAY: Unit Test (all classes); F mod - conduct Current Events Activity
- THURSDAY: Historiography of United States History (overview and examples)
- FRIDAY (F) / MONDAY (A): American Memory and the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War

Very Important Reminders for this week:
- Paper due no later than Monday morning - I've had many pleas to extend this deadline. As I mentioned to you several times in March when this was assigned, the due date will not be changed.
- Take-Home Test is due on Monday for A mod, Tuesday for F mod
- In class, we will finish our discussion of the Vietnam Experience based on the team activities
After we complete this unit on the 1960s & Vietnam, we will begin our final unit on Post-Vietnam to Present. The new schedule is below and corresponding documents will be posted to the documents page. Upcoming Schedule and Assignments:- Monday 5/9 - Oral History Paper due by 7:50 AM (Turnitin.com)
- Monday 5/9 (A mod) / Tuesday 5/10 (F mod) - TH Test and Answer Form due
- Wednesday 5/18 - Post-Vietnam to Present Unit Test (last unit test of the year)

I hope that you have enjoyed your Easter Break! When we return this week, we will finish the last 15-20 minutes of Thirteen Days and then conduct an overview discussion of the Civil Rights movement and the Vietnam War. You will also receive your take-home test and your homework assignment for our next class session in the lab. If you wish to start the homework assignment early, it is already posted to the documents page. Please follow the unit schedule (linked here) closely. Finally, don't forget that only one week remains until your Oral History paper is due online.
