- If you have pictures from our field trip to share, please go to the class wiki. On the homepage of the wiki are instructions of how to log-in to a class account for Photo Bucket.
- The final review guide is posted to the documents page and I will distribute a hard copy in class.
- Don't forget to read "Two Views on Columbus" from the documents page for our class on Historiography (Thursday-E mod / Friday-D mod)

A few reminders for this week: - Monday - Government Leaders Quiz and seminar on current leaders and issues (D mod - continuation from Friday; E mod - after finishing the film)
- Don't forget to submit the film analysis survey online (see link on documents page)
- Tuesday's Field Trip:
- Follow the dress code - we will discuss some modifications/explanations in class on Monday
- BE ON TIME - You need to report to the Cafeteria at 7:50
- Bring a bottle of water, your lunch and wear sunscreen or bug repellent if desired
- As of this post, the predicted high is only 81 so it should be a nice day for an outdoor activity
- Also remember to bring pens to write with. You will have a set of questions to answer - feel free to bring a notebook to use as a writing surface as well
- We will return to Bishop Kenny close to 2:00 and then go to the Pavilion to wrap-up for the day
- I hope you enjoy this activity!
- After our field trip, I have the following activities scheduled in class this week:
- Current Events Activity (connecting current news stories to history)
- Historiography (examining how the study of history has changed)
- American Memory: The Civil War at 150

Congratulations!
Congratulations on completing the AP Exam. I am sure that you did your very best and I hope that you feel some relief that it is now over. I wish you all the best on any other AP exams that you are taking this week. This week begins our final unit of the course - and a much more relaxing one! We will be watching a film all week with only a brief film analysis due by the end of the week. Please review the schedule linked below. Also, don't forget that permission forms and funds for our field trip are due Thursday. A few notes and reminders for this week: - History for Breakfast will be offered each morning this week at 7:25 in the Cafeteria. With the AP Chemistry Exam on Monday, I understand if you are unable to make it, but I will be there if you have any last minute questions or are not in AP Chemistry.
- In class, we will review the second half of U.S. History on Monday, Tuesday (D) and Wednesday (E). Thursday will be reserved for general review.
- You will also receive your passes this week for the AP Exam on Friday. The first half of the alphabet will be in Room 701 and the second half in the Media Center.
- I will also be frequently checking Schoology and the Google Groups discussion forum to answer any questions that you may have
- The "Essay" review session that was offered before break will be offered again on Tuesday, promptly at 2:40 PM. If you wish to attend, please let me know your preference - DBQ Review or Essay Prompts Review. I will do whatever the majority requests.
I wish you all the best as you make your final preparations for this exam. I am very proud of each of you and I know you will do your very best! Have a great week! |

First, thanks for your attendance at the mock exam! I will have multiple choice results for you this week and essays returned next week. On Monday, we will re-cap some of the major themes of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. If you were absent on Friday, please see the notes we made in class ( linked here). Once we finish this discussion, we will do an overview of 1980 to present and watch the Presidents DVD from Reagan (Carter-E mod) to G. W. Bush. We should conclude this by Thursday in time to begin our AP Review.
