Brittany Kwasnik on Canada AM
Dreams Do Come True When Brittany’s Kwasnik's friends encouraged her to put a song she wrote on YouTube called “Breathe”, she laughed because she did not own a video camera.
“All I had was an old photograph of me, so I put it on You Tube with the music and I watched as the numbers went up." "Breathe" had almost 37,000 hits in just a few days. "The reaction was fantastic. It just sort of happened…”
Soon, “Breathe” had generated lots of interest especially that of Greg London who scored back to back Top 5 AC singles last year, and who won the AC category of the Hollywood Music In Media (HMMA) award for highest charting new artist. Greg flew Brittany to California to record some of her original material with David Zeman of the Rembrandts, (Co-writer of the theme song from the TV show Friends.)
Brittany Kwasnik is a rising star. She has musical ability way beyond her years and has signed to Justin Time Records in her hometown of Montreal, Quebec. Her first album "I Don't Know Me" is slated to be released early 2011. | Breaking News: Brittany's new hit single "Fine" got airplay within the first hour of its release. Brittany's first album I Don't Know Me is now on iTunes and will be in stores in 2011
