Design Intenion People around me start having children and I realized that it could be a waste of money and resources by purchasing many similar products beacause of the fast baby growth. So, maybe one product that can be change according to the baby's growth would be an idea. Design Concept The transformation of style, from space age to modern, and to future, is similar to that of a baby’s growth. Buggy Shift changes its outer form as the baby’s growth is developed into different stages: a classic carriage as the baby is at the early infant stage, and when the baby grows to a certain stage, it turns into a modern baby stroller along with structural changes. Hoping to change the way the product is used according to different stages of a baby’s growth. Buggy shift" is a three wheel baby car. The front wheel is 12" and 5" in the back. And to give the baby car some mobility, the front wheel can move 360 degrees around; and to pursuing a more stable and safe condition, the back wheels are designed flipping out 15 degrees to lower the possibilities for the baby car to tip over. Function+Structure Design Pull the handle bar in the middle to fold the stroller. The handle part of the baby seat has different functions according to what position it is. It’s a handle in the position if original stroller, but it becomes a part of the structure when it is in the carriage position. The changing of two position of Buggy Shift relies on one structure. Carriage position- the baby will be facing the mother, and lying on it’s back . Stroller position- the baby will be facing outside, also reflects the baby’s growth and independency.

In the car ready to go! Yes... no baby car seat. >:( We have three of them!!! But they're all too large for a new born infant to be safe. One says new born to a fair weight range, no way. We'll be home the first month or so anyway, so this was hopefully the only ride without a car seat. In China... almost no one has a car seat. You'll see new borns and toddlers riding with mom and dad on the motorcycle and no one has a helmet.
