Getting near the finish, the leading riders fight for a wheel as they approach the start of the climb up Arthur's Seat, Hollyrood Park, Edinburgh. The race was a real war of attrition and only the toughest riders got to this position. The photo was taken a long time ago, in poor conditions and with my limited ability and cheap wee Kodak. However, I think it's quite a rare image along with the others in the set and of interest to other cyclists. Time Bruce Biddle's name was mentioned again! (2nd in line).
