6th Gr Choices

These are the books that you may choose from if you are entering 6th grade at Briscoe Middle School in Fall, 2010.

Airball: My Life in Briefs by Lisa Harkrader

To help prove that NBA star Brett McGrew is the father he has never known, uncoordinated Kansas seventh-grader Kirby Nickel braves his coach's ire and becomes captain of the basketball team. The Boy Who Spoke Dog by Clay Morgan

The author was an amateur magician and friendly with Houdini's widow, giving him some special insights into this master showman's fascinating rags-to-riches life story.

Peak by Roland Smith
