Supplies Commonly Used By 5th Graders:


Welcome to fifth grade.  We look forward to working with you to ensure the success of your child this new school year.  Here is a list of supplies commonly used by 5th grade students.


Any donations are greatly appreciated as we try to reach the goal of a class set of these supplies to each of our classrooms.

o School Planner (can be purchased through school)

o 1.5" binder

o 3-hole punched twin pocket folders:

      (3 yellow, 2 red, 2 green, 2 blue, 2 purple)

o 3-hole pencil pouch

o College rule filler paper

o Pens (2 black/blue and 2 red)

o Highlighter

o Lead pencils (inexpensive) or #2 Pencils (sharpened at home)

o Magic Rub or White Polymer Erasers

o 2-Fine & 2 Ultra Fine Point Sharpie

o 12” ruler- with 3-holes to be placed in binder

o Crayola 24 crayons

o Large (1.27 oz) Avery Glue Stick (this brand of glue works the best)

o White out (tape kind) ***If used inappropriately, Automatic confiscation

o 6” round-tip scissor (no sharp-tip scissors due to safety)

o Mini-stapler

o Jumbo sized non-adhesive or brown paper bag book covers  

o Hand sanitizer (to be kept in backpacks to aid in clean up after science labs)

o Bottle water to drink in class

o Reading books for home use

        (No sharpeners)
