Seemingly one of the most popular events of Brighton's Canada Day celebrations, over 50 school kids participated in the Lions Soap Box Derby. This was almost double the number participating in previous years. The fastest drivers, to mark their accomplishment, were awarded plaques presented by Mayor Chris Harrington. The Lions volunteers had fun too! Our thanks to Lion Denys who organized the event, ensuring, as in past years, that it all ran smoothly. |
