TATAMI FLIP FLOP. HOW TO RIBBON FLIP FLOPS. Tatami Flip Flop
Tatami (?) This is what we have in many, many places as the floor. To come in our rooms, we have to change shoes or go in barefoot. It means that, if you are playing outside and need to get something in a drawer of your desk, you have to change shoes/slippers 2 times. In total it will be 4 times. Sometimes it is VERY annoying, but, no doubt, the correct. Also, we sleep on a thin mattress named futon. And every night we have to take it from the wardrobe and arrange it on the tatami, as well as the sheets and pillow. Then, in the morning, we have to take it all back to the wardrobe! I dont see any menaing on this and wish it was different. I dont mind sleeping on the futon but I DO mind to having to take it in and out of the wardrobe all the time! Tatami Slippers (Day 100/365)
These are my house slippers. I wear them every day. Since moving to a house with all hardwood floors, I understand why the Japanese wear slippers, not shoes, in the house. For the Let's Shoot Los Angeles group assignment, "A TEXTURED Life." Tatami mat is one of my favorite textures.
