Flower Tree- up close
This was made from a vintage Studio Twelve kit called "Flower Tree." It is a 16"x36" wall panel made using simple crewel stitching and flowers made on the Studio Twelve looms. These flower types are called Layered Daisy with the larger ones having the petals stitched down to the background as well as having satin stitched centers.

This is a first attempt. I used a shoot through umbrella on camera left with a reflector on camera right. A second strobe was used to light the background. The left flower head is overexposed so I am going to try this again with a softer light source.
