Welcome to the Bribie Island Bicycle User Group website!

The Bribie Island Bicycle User Group (Bribie BUG) was formed to provide an outlet for locals to get together, have a good time, promote fitness and discover new places on Bribie Island and surrounding areas and now has over 140 members! Bribie Island IS the perfect place to cycle! It has beautiful beaches and the ideal tropical climate. We also aim to address issues that need to be fixed in the community such as infrastructure, cycle awareness and improvement to cycle paths.

Do you or your bike need more exercise?

Bribie BUG has rides every Saturday morning, either on the island or to Ningi/Sandstone Point, leaving the Information Centre, Benabrow Avenue, Bellara at 8.30am.

Rides take 2 to 3 hours (including coffee) and cover about 25km at a moderate pace to suit those participating.  All cyclists welcome. Contact Peter Crawford (3408 9292).

We look forward to seeing you on a ride!

Next meeting:TBA.
