Bonus coins are occasionally given for registering newly released games, or saying you "intend to buy" an upcoming game then registering it.

The rules/FAQ states that you can't register a title more than one time, or that only the first time you register it will you get coins.  There is an easy way around this.  You can make your account a "Family" account.  This lets you add user accounts for other family members so that you can register more than one of something but keep all your coins in one joint account.  If you register an additional family member as a child under 13 years old, Club Nintendo only asks for a new username and password - it doesn't ask for email, address, or any other personal info.  So, let's say you have two copies of Mario Party DS.  Register the first under your account username, then create a child account.  Let's just say we child account for "Billy".  Now log out of your account and log into "Billy"'s account with the username and password you chose.  Now you can enter your second Mario Party DS code.  Yes, right now you DO get 30 points for both registrations.  They'll also pool into the same account, which is good when saving up for a prize.
