Short Bio
I'm a Graduate Student at Simon Fraser University working towards my Master's of Science in Computing Science. I completed my Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree at University of Toronto with a Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence specialist, Computer Science Major and a Psychology Minor. I am working out of two labs at SFU, the Autonomy Lab (Robotics) under the supervision of Richard Vaughan and the Vision and Media Lab under the supervision of Greg Mori.
My Master's thesis revolves around Human Machine Interaction using vision. More specifically we are looking at controlling multiple robots through gestures. This work continues from Alex Couture-Beil's work and will extend to interpreting pointing gestures, where a human user can direct the robots by pointing them to a location.
My academic interests include Robotics, Machine Vision, Artificial Intelligence, human machine interaction and mobile computing as well as Cognitive Science, Neuroscience and Philosophy of Mind.
