For In Vitro a laser technique was used which allows graphics to
be inscribed within the glass sheet itself, rather than engraved upon
it. In Vitro consists of a collection of biographies of artists and craftsmen. Due to the fact that the texts were translated
into sound-graphics the viewer is
faced with a mystery. An illegible text, preserved like an insect in
amber. A message that must be deciphered like cuneiform script on
Sumerian clay tablets.
