Welcome back! I hope everyone had a fantastic summer. There is already a "good year" vibe in the air at Amity, and everyone seems to be settling in for wonderful things to come. This year the Life Arts Team will be focusing on Pop culture, and the music department will be exploring the history and trends within Pop music. In General Music we will trace the roots of the music throughout music history through listening, performing, and creating Pop music. Our choir students are already blending together to form what promises to be an exceptional group this year, and our upcoming concert will convey to the audience a collage of this ever-changing musical genre. I would like to let you all know that my door is open to all students and parents alike, and I encourage and look forward to hearing from many of you! I wish you all a great year, and I appreciate the visit!
