Koreans are super into exercise and fitness, and it's common to see exercise equipment in neighborhood parks, like the fitness trail you find in America, only bright colors and very close together. This is Korea; they don't do spread out. At the park next to my apartment, there are five or six exercise machines next to the jungle gym and it's not uncommon for me to see ajumma working out as I walk home from school.
