Scrip is simply a word that means “substitute money.”  In other words, Scrip is gift certificates from national and local retailers.  They’re the same gift certificates that you buy at the store.  Many popular retailers participate in our Scrip program including Walmart, Sears, Cracker Barrel, Home Depot, Arby’s and Applebee’s, just to name a few.

 

How do these stores help us raise money?  It’s simple.  The retailers discount the cards to Bremen Band Boosters.  Friends and families of band members pay the same that would be paid anywhere.  The band students benefit from the difference.  Scrip is exciting because everybody wins:

• The retailer gets cash up front and repeat business!
• You get a powerful fundraising alternative that involves no selling.
• The participating band student earns 100% of the profit.  This $ remains in the Student Band Account to be used for any band-related expense---a valuable resource to help the student progress through his/her years in Bremen Band.

 

The beauty of Scrip is that you put your regular household shopping dollars to work.  You earn money for our band students without spending a single additional penny.  Just spend your regular shopping dollars with Scrip at the stores that participate in the program!

 And Scrip can be used for just about any household purchase including food, clothing, entertainment, gasoline and even dining out.  Your many special gift-giving events (like birthdays, holidays, graduation!) can be easily taken care of with a gift card and you won’t have to drive anywhere to pick them up.

 

ü      The Order Form will indicate the date due.

ü      Future order forms will always be posted Thursday with the deadline for ordering being the following Monday.       

ü      The Cards will be distributed within 7 days.

ü      This is an ongoing/year-round Band program!
