Check out my Q&A about Prenatal Yoga on Kayla LifeJoin my Facebook Fan PageWelcome! The benefits of yoga can be enjoyed by anyone. Male, female, young, old, flexible, and inflexible, yoga is a great compliment to other physical activities such as jogging, cycling, aerobics, swimming, and hiking. Yoga brings connection and awareness to the body, mind, and spirit. Through this awareness you may learn more about your body and the True Self. There are many benefits to yoga and I encourage you to come and try it out to learn first hand. Studies have shown that practicing yoga during pregnancy has been known to improve comfort during labor, facilitate the birthing process and potentially to relieve postpartum depression. Studies also show that women who practiced prenatal yoga regularly during pregnancy had a quicker recovery postpartum, including those with Cesarean Sections. Its my belief that during pregnancy is a perfect time for the expectant mother to start on a new adventure of yoga and share it with their growing baby. I hope to see you soon on the mat!
