Year 4~Day 138 +109/365 AND Day 1234: Smart Food & Smart Portrait
I'm back home now and uploading my 1200 photos of Nashville, Tennessee. This was my first bus trip with "seniors." I didn't know anybody, but I did get to know some very nice people. Do you think they figured out that I like photography?????? HaHa! Yeah, and within the first couple of hours of the trip. Now that I'm back home, I'm back on my "1200 calories/day" eating plan. I tried to eat healthy foods on the trip. I think I only gained 1-1/2 pounds; so, I consider that successful. I'm also back with my exercise program. I've walked to the mailbox and back today, but the mail had not come; so, I'll be walking again. I'm going to work out with my trainer this afternoon. We'll see if I've lost any flexibility. Because of timing and trying to upload photos during the trip, I did not use the treadmill at the motel. I did walk a lot when we were out sightseeing. I walked around the Opryland Hotel, the Opry Mills Mall, the Country Music Hall of Fame, and around Loretta Lynn's Dude Ranch and museums. While I was eating lunch in Atlanta on our return trip with some new friends, I stumbled on a cool function of my new Nikon Coolpix S8000. This photo was taken with the SMART Portrait mode. When you point the camera toward a person, it automatically finds the face(s), chooses to use or not use the flash, and snaps the picture. This might come in very handy for my self-portraits.

My sister has several of these giant house cats. The last time she mentioned them, she had four with an additional one she felt obligated to put up for adoption. (King County allows only three pets per home). This chubby fellow really ought to use the treadmill for more than a chair.
