While doing research for Breakfast Santa Fe Style,
we visited a lot of restaurants. Between the time we began writing and
the last possible moment to make changes before publication, several
things happened. A couple restaurants revised their signs or altered
their names. Some new places opened up. Sadly, two of our favorites
went out of business completely. Carlos' Gosp'l Café closed, changed
locations, and stopped serving breakfast. We have fond memories of these places, and we imagine that many of their former customers do too. As a salute, we're including our write-ups below. Maybe the descriptions will stir up readers' recollections of memorable breakfasts or brunches. |
