To Whom It May Concern:

My name is BrandyLee Hatcher and I am graduating with a BFA in Theatre Arts, emphasis in Stage Management, this December from Stephens College in Columbia, MO.  As I prepare to enter the professional world the importance of determining the goals I wish to pursue in my career has come sharply into focus. 

In the short term my primary goal is to better develop those skills I learned in undergraduate productions into marketable skills for stage management in professional theatre. Graduate school would be an asset to my training helping me expand my education in communication, organization, and production management.

Two of my career goals are to work as a theatrical stage manager with a particular interest in classical and Shakespearean plays. In addition, my secondary goal is to pursue a career working in major theatrical and musical festivals as well as the organization of industry conferences and conventions.

A Masters of Fine Arts degree will raise and shape the quality of my professional skills and open up opportunities for my future.
