This week we begin with the Writing section of the FCAT. Once that is behind you you are one-quarter of the way done on your trudge towards high school. Time really starts flying by now. Speaking of flies - the next selection is all about butterflies so be sure to have your green book with you. During the week I want to revisit point of view. Now is a good time to look at "The House". Be sure you complete all the assignments for your report. Periods 4 and 5 - no permission form means no credit. Book Report Due on February 11thHomework Monday - Book report alert 1,2 and 3 - Finish up what you did not do in class. Do not "forget" this at home. 4 & 5 The first two paragraphs need to be completed. The name of the book and the movie are underlined. Just underlined. Not "quotes" and underlined. Points will be deducted for this error. Tuesday - Complete the next section for Book report. You can turnit in anyday this week prior to the due date on Thursday. Wednesday - Green FCAT book do the assigned section. If you do have access to a computer please go to FCAT Explorer and work on the left side. Sign in as you normally would. Work on Reading Boardwalk.
Thursday – Have your T2S signed to validate you have been reading at home. from now until FCAT you may substitute FCAT Explorer Reading Boardwalk as your 30 minute reading assignment. Friday – Have a wonderful weekend. |
