9.7.10 - The cast for Tied Up is set!  We're excited to be moving forward with what is sure to be a stellar cast and crew.  Get ready for a nail-biting thriller!

9.05.10 - I just finished hosting Just ASK Productions' "Seventh One Night Stand" --a night of original shorts plays.  Just ASK is a great production company and collaborator of my production company, Red Wheelbarrow Productions.  They showcase the talent of some amazing writers and their original works.

9.02.10 - Was just cast in a new short, entitled Ashes, as Will, a travel writer who comes home to his family's house to see his siblings again and tie up loose ends a year after their parents die.  It shoots for a week in October down in Williamsburg.

8.30.10 - Brian Fuqua, a great writer whom I've worked with before, has cast me in a staged reading of another one of his original works, Chester, on September 20th.

8.29.10 - My new headshots are posted in the Photo Gallery.  Britt Magnuson did a phenomenal job, please take a look.

8.17.10 - Shot new headshots with Britt Magnuson.  What a pleasure to shoot with her.  I'm very pleased with the way they came out.  Look for them in the Photo Gallery soon!

8.07.10 - My screenplay, Out of the Sandbox, was selected for a staged reading for the October slot of the PRG Group.  Mark your calendars for October 25th, 6:30 PM.

7.26.10 - Pre-production continues for Tied Up. We have a director, a producer, and a DP attached to the project, with casting happening within the next month.

7.25.10 - Shot a great, quippy, surrealist short this weekend, entitled Monday, Monday. It's about a businessman who gets poisoned on his birthday and goes through the morning of his death trying to figure out who might have done such a thing.  Finishing up VO work on it next week.

7.19.10 - Cast as Griff in a short written by Theo Salter, called Down. Shoots first week of October.

6.26.10 - Read the role of Aaron Feldman in a staged reading of The Recommendation.  My character is described as " a good looking go-getting white guy who will charm your pants off, or sicken you with his self-absorbed smugness, depending on your mood that day-- cause if there's one thing that doesn't change, it's him."  Brilliant.  The read was great, the play is amazing.   Looking forward to seeing the final version soon.

6.22.10 - Britt Magnuson's photos are posted! Check out the Central Park Photo Shoot in my photo gallery.

6.21.10 - In pre-production for a short called Tied Up.

6.14.10 - Workshopped the second half of Brian Fuqua's new play, "Feast or Family". The play is sharply written, the cast on point with all the quippy dialogue. Bravo, Brian, on a great play!

6.06.10 - Am now a proud graduate of the William Esper Studio. The two-year conservatory program was excellent, and I'm very happy with the training I received. Thank you, Bill, and congrats to all my fellow classmates!

5.13.10 - Had an amazing day of shooting in Central Park with the talented Britt Magnuson. As the protege of Helmut Newton, Britt's took some incredible photos. Looking forward to sharing them!

4.05.10 - Was part of Brian Fuqua's staged reading for his new play, "Feast or Family".  I must say, I was very impressed with the writing, and the play as a whole.  Looking forward to Round 2 in June.  Bravo, Brian!

4.01.10 - Was on set for "As The World Turns" all day.  The episode should be airing June 16th.  Check it out!

3.25.10 - Booked background work for an episode of "As The World Turns" next week.

3.11.10 - Auditioned for Edward Albee's new play, "Me, Myself, and I", being cast by Alaine Alldaffer.

2.18.10 - Booked a staged reading for a new play, "Feast or Family", by Brian Fuqua.  The reading is set for April 5th, 8:30PM.  Details to follow.

2.4.10 - Finished two great classes over the past month, one with Alaine Alldaffer of Playwrights Horizons and one with Paul Schnee of Barden/Schnee Casting.

1.29.10 - New edit of my reel is up.  Check it out, here.

1.28.10 - Called in by Clint Alexander to read for a new untitled FOX pilot.

1.17.10 - Shot a short film, Fallout, this weekend at a beautiful brownstone in Brooklyn.  Despite the pretty scenery, the storyline was heavy; the short is about a family forced to seek refuge in a fallout shelter due to an impending nuclear attack where their own shortcomings and insecurities threaten to get the best of them if drastic, even violent action isn't taken.

1.10.10 - The 9th Annual No Pants Subway Ride was a huge hit today.  What a great event!  This being my third year, I was the veteran.  Apparently, I made it into the NY Post's coverage, too.  Hope to see you all there next year.

11.28.09 - Manuscript Photos (by Joe Gunn) are posted in the Photo Gallery.

10.16.09 - Joined One On One this week.  If you're an actor in NYC, you need to audition for them and get on the bandwagon!  Looking forward to many a workshop and private session with them...

10.11.09 - Wrapped shooting a New York Film Academy short, Mixed Drinks, this weekend.  This was...a different kind of film.  Can't wait for final copy.

9. 27.09 - It's official!  We're kicking off RWP's next set of projects with a staged reading the second week of November!  Stay tuned for details on that, as well as a FREE OPEN BAR event, hosted by Yours Truly, RWP.

9.04.09 - "Manuscript" was taped on Closing Night, so so we assembled 'the family' and had our first official viewing of the DVD.  It looks great.  Thanks again, Jonah.  Plus, getting everyone together again was priceless...

7.19.09 - A HUGE thank you goes out to all those who've supported us through this whole venture.  Both the run of "Manuscript" and Red Wheelbarrow Producutions as a company have  been wonderfully successful.  We were met with very positive feedback for both.  Please take a minute to find us on Facebook!

7.18.09 - We're sad to say, Closing Night is here.  Hope you have your tickets or you've been part of the fun already--hey, why not come see it again?!?  See you all at the Wrap-Party round 10:00:

7.15.09 - Our review from Theater Online came out today.  Bryan Clark says, "Brady Kirchberg plays Chris, the rich kid who is not what he seems. Kirchberg is completely at home onstage and uses his natural charm to pitch-perfect effect in the slippery role...The actors were exuberant at the curtain call, and they deserved to be proud of their performances."  Great words to hear with still a week to go...

7.13.09 - After its first week, "Manuscript" has done exceptionally!  The buzz is spreading and we've already sold out for a couple shows of our second week.  We're on pace to sell out most nights (great news!), so if you haven't gotten your tickets yet, be sure to.  You can get them here.

7.08.09 - OPENING NIGHT of  "Manuscript"!!  We had a great first night, with an enthusiastic audience...always a good sign.  Everything went well, here's to another nine.  Get your tickets on Red Wheelbarrow's site.

7.06.09 - Load-In.  We are moved into the theater at Center Stage and are excited to rehearse in the space.  Working with this cast and crew has been a continually astounding experience!  I'm constantly amazed at everyone's level of commitment to the project--it's looking to be a great run.

6.18.09 - Thank you to all those who showed up last night to support us.  It was great meeting new people, seeing familiar faces, and sharing in the good times.  RWP is off  and running, in large part thanks to all of you.  We're thrilled about the next month, so be sure to stay tuned for updates as we move along.

4.03.09 - NEWS FLASH!  In important developments, it looks like the much talked-about production endeavor between myself and fellow Bowdoin Alum and New York actor, Theo Salter, is well underway.   We have formed a production company, Red Wheelbarrow Productions, for our first production, "Manuscript", by Paul Grellong,  and are very excited.  You can read a brief synopsis of the play on RWP's site.  Additionally, we have a director, Kevin Bigger, signed on, whose past credits include assistant directing the current Broadway hit, 39 Steps.  Check back for more updates as we move forward with this great project!

12.12.08 - Each year Coca-Cola sponsors a Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmaker's Competition where filmmakers submit their proposals to Coke for funding for a Coke spec commercial.  I was lucky enough to be selected by one of the winning teams for their featured film!  So, just finished ours, entitled "Scrooge," which should be up on the Coke website soon.  Stay tuned...
