Hey everyone... we're horrible at keeping this updated. Sorry for that. We had our baby!!! whoo!!! Zooey Kristian Massier. 7lbs 19.5 inches. born August 15th 2008 at 9:19am. And for all those curious folk out there, it's pronounced "Zoh-ee", not "Zew-ee". But you knew that :)

It was a pretty good delivery this time too albeit very fast. I went from 4cm to having her in 2.5 hours. It was intense and no epidural again. I sucked back the gas pretty good but that was just a distraction... it doesn't really do anything for the actual pain. I only pushed for 6 minutes and didn't tear this time. I know that might be too much information but seriously...it makes all the difference. Oh and one of the interns at the hospital actually went to my highschool in Surrey... I didn't know her but that NEVER happens to me out here in Saskatchewan.

Our family is settling nicely into life with two kids. Poor Brad.. he's so outnumbered now. all these women... oh what fun we'll have when they are teenagers. Zooey is a really good baby thus far. She sleeps decently at night so I'm not totally exhausted and she's growing good and nursing is going so much better than last time.

We also bought a minivan. I really resisted as long as I possibly could but it proved to be not a fight worth fighting when my sister and my mom were here and we couldn't all fit into one vehicle. So thanks to the fine people at Nissan, I got a deal on a '01 Montana in super nice shape. We named him Gomer and he's pretty sweet for what he is.
Anyway... this is just a short blurb to tell you all that we are doing wonderful and we thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. We feel really blessed to have two beautiful, healthy girls.
