Brad Velcoff grew up in Brooklyn, and has lived in New York City most of his life. He received his college degrees from SUNY at Albany, and has enjoyed a variety of educational positions. He is currently an Instructional Technology Specialist for the New York City Department of Education's Office of Instructional Technology. He managed a branch of the New York Public Library's adult literacy program, taught English at Bergen Community College and at Hudson Valley Community College, and he wrote and rated questions for the English Regents. He taught English and Computers at the Bushwick Outreach Center for 8 years, and at other New York high schools. In his spare time he loves to listen to music and read voluminous novels.
