The English Advanced Placement Vertical Team for Bartlesville Public Schools has been in place for eight years. Our Pre-AP/AP teachers meet monthly to discuss current news and information regarding College Board and the AP Program.
In 2004, we agreed as a team to unify our approach to summer reading. In every Pre-AP/AP class, students will write an in-class-essay over their summer reading assignment around the middle of September.
All students agree to read the assigned book during the summer and complete the close reading assignment by September 15th.
