Welcome back from summer break!! Individual novel work is ongoing throughout the year. Students should have chosen a book for the first marking period. They are to read and complete chapter maps which will be checked throughout and collected at the end of the marking period. Homework is to read the individual novel throughout the week, so as not to have homework on the weekends. The chapter maps should be completed while reading and not long after reading so the information read is still fresh in the mind. We are going to start reading our 1st marking period class novel by October if not sooner. Please ask your child about this novel. Thanks! ALL CHAPTER MAPS FOR 1st marking period are due on Nov. 4th. Please note that chapter map types may be different for each student. I look forward to seeing each and every single one of you in person and virtually.
